Crankcase pressure problem non turbo 850 850

My car seems to be under excessive pressure in the crankcase. Oil was coming up through the top seal. Sealed that. Then the Main seal was replaced and I think some other seals. Now seals are all broken and leaking again. What causes this and how do you fix it?? I think I have replaced the seals 3 or 4 times now.

Excessive crankcase pressure is caused by a plugged flame trap, a plugged vacuum line (narrow hose) which is attached to the flame trap, and a plugged line (larger hose) which leads to the oil trap. All three of these areas can be plugged or one can be plugged and cause excessive pressure. This is unfortunate because keeping these areas clean or replacing the parts cost 5-10% of the cost of doing a rear main seal.

Check the search area of this website. It should have hundreds of comments on rear main seal problems and solutions. Many other Volvo related sites have comments on this legendary problem area in the Volvo 850.

After a complete cleaning of the pcv system i found i was getting a sucking sound when i took the oil cap off before that it was positive preasure. I think this is the test if the system is working.
