I've got a '98 C70 in Saffron Pearl Metallic with a 5-speed and would like to know if there is a reliable source of information on the number imported to the US. I've seen the figure "150" batted around a few times, but without any substantiation. Also, if anyone is aware of a C70 registry, I'm interested.

Not fair! Two Saffrons in the same driveway. I am so envious. Is the C70 a drop top or coupe?

Why not write a nice letter to Volvo NA and ask them? Do it for the C70 as well as the V70, and be sure to let us know the "official" number.

I tried contacting Volvo NA by phone to get answers to these questions and they were not helpful (actually "not helpful" is an overstatement....the lady I spoke with verged on hostile).

The C70 is a coupe...I've never seen a convertible in Saffron....now that would be something!

Sorry to lead you to the wrong place. Volvo NA does not like people who don't buy new Volvos every 2 years :)
Send an email to VCOA.org They might even be able to send you to a web site for Saffron cars. I am just envious because my R is black.
