diagnostic reader for 93 850 850 1993

Is it possible to purchase a diagnostic reader for a pre-1996 volvo? I have a 93 850 that needs a lot of work and I dislike having to pay for a diagnosis. I haven't been able to find one online.

There is one bultin on your car. Passenger fender where you add windshield washer fluid. 1 or 2 small boxes, just lift up on the top and follow the directions in the 700/900 FAQs.

Please answer, we need to know if the advice is good or bad. The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are 2 turbos :)
