Master Window Switch V70-XC70

Im about to replace the master window switch for the second time, but I noticed after unplugging and plugging the switch back in, it gets really hot!!! I really dont want to spend $150 just so it can break again in 3 weeks.

A while back on Craigslist, someone was rebuilding these to be better, why I didnt take down his information I have no clue!!! The guy would rebuild these switches and "beef" them up like how Victor beefs up the abs module.

Does anyone know of such a person rebuilding the master window switches for the 1998? Thanks!!

I ran across some jerk on Volvospeed who claims to do just that. But, I cannot recall his handle. Do a search over there.

You found him. He has all of the tact of Pres Bush and Cheney put together. I would do the guy no favors, but that is just personal opinion. Email or PM him and see what he does, I can only assume he cleans the switches and adds solder to the "broken" switches.
