The cabin Filter is under the hood.
You will notice some screws by the wind sheild wiper blade on the passenger side. Remove the screws on this side 3 or 4 and lift up the panel on this end, which will allow you to remove the filter. You do not need to remove the whole panel. It's very easy to do.

You need to get under the windshield cowling. Manuals say to remove the wiper arms, all cowling torx screws and the cowling. I have never removed more than the three left-most screws (left as you stand at the front of the car). Make sure to disconnect the cowling water drain hose by opening the spring clamp and pulling the hose down. You can lift/pry up that side of the cowling and reach the filter that way. No need to remove cowling and wiper arms.

Under the hood, passenger side next to the windshield. Couple of screws and you can pull it out. Good luck.

Did you ever find out where the 'Cabin' filter is located ?? - I read the postings but believe the "others" were referring to the prior model (old shape)
