p0180 clutch position control malfunction S60

hello all
a quick question, i was driving on the freeway about 50 miles and when i started the car to come home check engine light was on and states "TRANSMISSION NEEDS SERVICED". I got a obdII code reader and it pulled the code p0180 -"CLUTCH POSITION CONTROL MALFUNCTION". anyway my question is, is it a bad solenoid or bad tranny. also there is a coolant leak in front by the right tire. thanks for all your time. nick

Above the right tire is the coolant overflow, that can leak or have a bad cap. Check it when the engine is hot by rubbing a dry paper towel in the area. If the cap has any cracking in it, replace it. Also check the side of the radiator under the hoses.

The p0180 sounds like clutch related rather than tranny.

Please answer your responses. We need to know if the advice is good or bad. The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are 2 turbos :)
