Just wanted to post that my old 850 was starting really bad- sounded like it had back pressure or something every now and then. Seemed like it might be starting on a dead cylinder or something. Well, took the distributor cap off and the original flash shield or dust cap as the dealer calls it (34.00 for a plastic cap with seal) was falling apart and letting oil that I spilled on the engine seep in. So, replaced the distributor cap, rotor, and dust cap and she runs and starts super again. Just something to check on these old trusty cars.
