black Fender sources - my body shop might use a non-OEM new fender. 850 1995

My kid wacked the fender from the side. Into a large tree. I don't have collison insurance.

I stopped by my body shop. I though junk yards were so organized that he could get a used one already painted the correct color. Apparently not. The shop will probably use a clone fender. When I asked if it's galvanized - his grimace seemed to say 'no'.

Actually there is likely more damage - so a fender won't just bolt on.

What do you recommend? Is there a Volvo specialty junk yard near NYC? Are the clone parts OK - it will need to last 10 years as my car only has 78K miles. Paint is expensive - so I thought if I can bet it off a black car - I'll save.

Bill D Cat is correct about Erievolvo, good people but you need to talk to them over the phone. They will have a black fender in stock, without any dents. Check the inner fender and where the fender connects with the hood for more dents.
Knock off parts are NOT galvanized.

If you're paying for it, and not the insurance co., you can get anything you want!

(I would not go for a Chinese fender unless I planned to trade the car in the moment I got it back from the body shop!)

Have you tried Erie Vovo? http://www.erievovo.com/ They list fenders on their website.
