Hello To All,

I saw a 1999 S70 T5 with 104K miles asking price is 9.5K for sale through craiglist. The car is here in Southern California and I'm asking to lower the price to 8K. Seller says it's very well maintained and in excellent cond. so I'm confiding to all experienced volvo owners of what is a good price for this one assuming the seller is telling the truth.
I am setting an appointment for this weekend to see the car. Any input is very well appreciated. Thanks!

    Check to be sure there is no tapping noise. If so, you will need to replace the sump pump o rings. I did this over the weekend for $100 in parts...thanks to KlausC's guidance. Check to be sure any recalls have been done. I'm in Oklahoma and one fully decked out with everything and immaculate condition...like new has a private party retail of $7200.00 and dealer retail of $8400.00

    That is several $K higher than in the twin cities, but you don't have to worry about salt.
    Check other online sites, cars.com, etc. and compare.

    If there are Skittles or popcorn around the seat tracks, the car was not cared for. Check the tranny fluid color, the dipstick is under the air intake on the drivers side.
