How robust are the S70 4speed auto transmissions, I've been thinks of adding a cooler. Down south warm all year round.

If you don't tow anything or put large bundles of stuff on your roof and cruise at 80mph+, you should not have a problem.
I flush my trannys every 25-30K miles, just to be safe. Adding a cooler will not hurt a thing, but you will need more fluid to compensate for the extra tubing. There is a cooler in the radiator already.
