New cap/rotor/wires/plugs?? (Klaus- an April 18 dead battery follow up!) V70-XC70 1998

I see that some Bosch electrical components ie cap/ rotor/ wires are
a lot cheaper than the factory items, so are thay as good as the factory
ones for wifey's 140K V70???

And what type of plugs has everyone had success with??

(Klaus- here in the northeast we had A LOT of rain for some 5-6 days last week, and I have been living by the ocean somewhat, so the cap/rotor has taken a good beating, and according to the local indy Volvo specialist, the cap/rotor/wires are indeed the originals, so hence my aforemntioned lack of power...many thanks for your help!)

Muchas gracias- Mike

You got 140K miles on the cap and rotor? And now you are looking for something cheap? LOL

I still use OEM / dealer plugs.

I run factory plugs, Bosch cap and rotor, and Bougicord wires (factory). I could not agree with Klaus more on this one, if you got 140K on the original ones do not waste your time looking for something else.
