Stick with the OEM volvo plugs. I went through aftermarket plugs on my old S80 and my new S80 T6, the OEM plugs work best!

It's in the back of the owner's manual. If you don't have a manual:

Spark plug P/N given in the owners manual "272371-8 or equivalent" - Local auto parts stores have no reference to this part number in the records - the plugs in the car(which have done there time) are a 3 electrode type marked "Volvo". How do I decipher this part number?

Because plugs typically last 25-30,000 miles, I just go to my local dealer and buy 5 new ones. He gives me a 10% discount for being a nice customer :)
