messed up 850

Hi,
I replaced my heater core and in the process of installing it back i think i messed up the two metal lines. When i poured fresh coolant there is a tremendous leak coming from the upper stem of the metal lines behind the firewall. I think there's a crack in the upper portion of one of those 2 lines, when i was installing the new heater core.

How do you take those 2 metal lines out?

I am very disappointed with myself for wasted time and effort due to carelessness.

Any inputs is highly appreciated.
