What if the label on Timing Cover is missing, is the SN somewhere else?

    Slightly difficult to read. On the block between the engine and the firewall, it will appear upside down, of course:)

      It can be a bit of a bear to read. Find the coolant petcock on the back of the block and look up from there. It is stamped into an ear on the block and the numbers flat on the face of it, the numbers are printed in dot matrix, clean the area off and use a flashlight and a mirror to read it. Just keep in mind that what you are reading in the mirror is upside down and backwards.
