So what kind of milage do bricksters have on their 850s? Any any major repairs to the engine to get to that milage.

1996 with 180k no major problems except a/c compressor replaced 2 years ago otherwise regular matinence stuff nice car leather still looks new. engine very strong no noise purrs like a kitten. kelly

1996 850 GLT w/292,000
Water Pump/ Timing belt recently. Needs rear seals done. Probably needs the Air Pump(sounds like a jet taking off right now). Needs A/C compressor and I did the evaporator about 2 years ago(intermitant A/C). Other things over the last 4 years include gas pump, wheel bearing, 2 other Air pumps(pain in the a$$).
Is that enough?? But I love the car, so go figure.

1998 V70 -- 237k, original clutch, water pump, alternator, etc. Only major repair was A/C evaporator. 25-28 mpg. Went to dealer once for recall on slave cylinder, otherwise all maintenance by me.

196,000 miles on my 95 855.

Only repair item on the engine has been rear main seal, done about 30,000 miles ago.

AC works fine, trans is flushed regularly, uses a bit of oil, but less than a lot of newer cars I know. only issues have been with the power door locks, but i can live with em.

I still get 26 mpg overall, and the seats look great, thanks to regular leather treatments. I like the car, and it looks much newer.

poor thing.... i neglected my first 850 .. too busy with the rest of the fleet.

Major rebuild coming when i have time in the summer.. engine still going strong...but i am way overdue with the timing belt and the rear seal. But it keeps runnning and runnnnning and still pretty handsome for her years!

96 850 wagon. 280,000+ just lost the speedo gears. Runs great. Starter, fuel pump and usual maintenance. Rack is starting to leak otherwise it is dry! Uses a quart in 5K and still drives like new.

209,XXX miles engine still strong, 5 spd trans sound , original A/C works great

202,000 km. Just did the turbo and head gasket. Cylinder bores were like new inside, and the car runs like new. Reday to go another 200,00 km

Usual 850 stuff...Power steering rack most recently, in the last week actually. That's annoying.

Wife has a 95 855T which now has 248k & going strong. A daily commuter car of 100 miles. No engine problems, just the usual 850 stuff. It`s been a great car!!
