Need help bad 850 1994

Iv'e had a few problems solved by a lot of good advice from forms on brickboard. But i have a big disssion to make if i should keep my 94 volvo 850 tubo with 112.000 on it or keep tring to work out the bugs.heres the deal i changed the IAC motor,TBS sensor cleand the egr valve and map sensor. The car was showing like 24 codes when i changed those parts it got rid of 12 codes and left 1 code in the A1 ignition codes 325 memory faluire. The car runs great except it smells like rotton eggs when you put a load on the motor. And another problem is the car will start like 8 times in a row then it won't start it will just crank and the IAC motor winds real loud .If you let the car sit it will start up sometimes in 5 min or it could take 20 min before it starts.I was told it could be the fuel computer or the cam position sensor.Does one one have any input that could help me with this wierd prblem.I love the car but it is getting frustrating.I'm pretty macanicly inclined but vovos got me stumped.

Memory failure in the computer is not good. If there are any "good" junk yards near you, call and ask them for a price on a used computer for a 1994.
The sulphur smell could be high sulphur gas not completely burning and getting into your cat. Changing brands of gas is an option.
You could have a bad cam pos sensor, the next time it won't start - try rapping on it with the handle of a screwdriver.
Try clearing ALL of the codes. The ones that do not clear are definately problems, but could be due to vacuum line leaks.

Good chance your oxygen sensors are gone or not functioning. They are dumping a too rich mixture into the engine and the cat is trying to burn it off. Sometimes a problem start can be in fuel pump relay. Fist guess would be oxy sensor.

Aren't "rotten egg" smells related to a failing catalytic converter? (Sometimes?)

I was told by a volvo service rep to change the Brand of gas I use. I thought he was nuts! I worked, something to do with sulfer bla bla blah. I had a 1994 turbo 850 with 322,000 miles never changed the iac I cleaned it once with throttle body cleaner. Read the codes a little more carefully. some times an o2 senser will give you other codes as well. Fuel pump lasted for me 158,000 fuel pump relay about 200,000 My driving was 95% highway. And I am an agreessive driver. Good Luck You could clear all the codes and start over, just a thought
