ECM-9520 Pedal Position sensor

Hi,

I had the recall 155 made on my V70 200 Volvo 2-3 months ago. Last week the ETS light came up. I went to the dealer and they found error Code ECM-9520 Pedal Position sensor - High signal, or something like this.

They want to charge me 150$ to replace the part, which I'm not convince is really bad.

Any ideas.

Marc-Antoine

Can you clear the code at Autozone? If it comes right back, then perhaps the dealer is right. Keep the part so you can open it up and take a look at how it works.

I guess the Delear cleared the Code because the lights is not on anymore. I assume that if the ETS lights doesn't come back on, the problem is "solved".

What can I do with Autozone ??

      Thanks for you help
