Code for radio?

I have a 2001 C-70. I recently had the alternator replaced, so now the radio is looking for a 4 digit code, which I don't have.

Does anyone know how I can get the code?

    Did former owner give you a plastic card with the code on it?

    If the card is missing, it hopefully was written in the owner's manual somewhere. I hope you got the documentation with the car.

    A Volvo dealer can supply the code. They will probably want to see the car's registration or some document showing that you are the owner of the car (assuming the radio is original to the car).

    Have you tried looking in the owner's manual or other literature with the car? PO may have written it down somewhere.
