What kind of vacuum system does the 850 have? 850

I confess, I haven't gotten my hands on a Haynes manual yet, so I was hoping to get a quick answer here. I know the 240 red blocks have an extensive vacuum system to regulate all sorts of systems. I had to replace much of my original lines. Does the 850 have any such system? I quickly looked under the hood and didn't find an obvious looking lines. My original intent was to connect a vacuum gauge in my cabin (as I had done in my 240), to measure engine vacuum, which is usually a good indicator of fuel economy, etc. Is there a system like this I can tap into on my 850?

Of course there is a vacuum system on the 850. But none of the lines go inside the car. All of the dash controls are electric in modern cars :)
There is a vacuum tree on the 850 N/A next to the throttle body and a couple of small vacuum lines running toward the battery. There should be a sticker on the hood which shows the vacuum lines related to the PCV system.
The only problem you will have is getting a line through the firewall. The 850 turbos had one coming through close to the hood release cable, perhaps there is a plug in the N/A models.

I went out this afternoon and found the vacuum lines you mentioned coming from the intake, and into a small sensor/metering device mounted on top of the radiator. The thing that threw me was their appearance as smaller diameter, hard plastic lines. My 240 had thicker walled, large, rubber lines running everywhere; easier to differentiate from wiring. My next question is, where is the best place to tap into these vacuum lines for a gauge? Which side of the intake and/or the sensor? Also, is there a good place to find this harder plastic line when I run it for my gauge? If memory serves, generic replacement lines found at Pepboys seemed to just be the cheaper rubber stuff.

I would tee in a vacuum line at the vacuum tree.
Remove the screw holding down the throttle
body cover, take the cover off. You will see
the vacuum tree with several rubber elbows.

I think this would be a good place to tee into
the vacuum system without having to worry
        about affecting sensors, etc.

        Have Fun!
