Oversized Tires for S70 S70 2000

Hello,
It is time for new tires on the 'ol S70. I am currently running 205/60x15's on the stock rims, but would like to step up one more size to 215/60x15's. Has anyone run this size without rubbing? I did check the archives with several searches before posting this, but it was not helpful.
Thanks for any replys,
Rich

The 215 should not be a problem, but, the wider the tire:
Less gas milage
Less traction in the rain and snow
More stress on the steering system
Better cornering in dry conditions.

Thanks Klaus,
I was mainly worried about the circumference. I know Volve does not leave much room to spare in the wheel wells. From printed tire specs, the 205's are roughly 1/2" larger OD, and 1/4" wider than the stock 195's. The 215's are roughly 1" larger OD, and 1/2" wider than the stock 195's. (At least on paper.)

I wanted to ask this before purchasing the 215's. I was going to try and find a decent tire shop that would mount up the 215's for a fitment check. It is reassuring to know ahead of time that the tires will properly clear and not cause rubbing during suspension travel.

Any other experiences/stories are welcome. Thanks for the reply, it is greatly appreciated. Years ago, I use to be a good information resource on the Dakota Mailing List board when I belonged to it, but here I am mostly an asker due to my lack of Volvo knowledge.

Thanks again,
Rich

I considered running S70 2000

oversized tires on my 99 V70, but the speedo/odo is so dead on accurate that I hate to screw it up. Can this be recalibrated?
