I have read varying opinions here about switching out to E-codes. Some say swapping only the lens results in significant improvement in light thrown on the roadway. Others say switching only the lens results in minimal improvement, and that instead, you need to switch the entire headlight assembly so that you have both the E-code lenses and reflectors, in order to receive the full benefit.

I'm interested in hearing "personal experiences" (not what you've "heard") either way. I have acquired one E-code lens, but before I spend the money for the other one, I'm very interested in hearing first-hand testimonials as to the potential results if I change out ONLY the lenses, and retain the north american headlight assemblies.

I'm also still looking for one passenger-side E-code lens, with gasket and clips, to fit a '98 V70.
