PCV Cleaning Procedure V70-XC70 1999

Hi,
Thansk for all your responses on my last post regarding the huge oil leak. I am planning on getting the rear main seal repaired but woudl like to do the PCV service myself. Could anybody provide a pict or schematic of the system and the parts that need cleaning or replacing. I can see a few of them but not all. Also does the manifold need to be removed? Thanks!!!

Manifold does have to come off...make sure you get a manifold gasket.
Here is a thread from another forum on the how-to with pictures:

A long extension for your socket set will help you get the cumbersome screw out that's under the power steering pump. If you have this, you won't need to move the PS pump out of the way to do this. Good luck!
