94 850 engine stabalizer bushing.. 850

The rubber bushing in the engine stabalizer mount in my 94 850T is shot, and I figured it would be a quick and easy fix. Then I took a close look at it and the bushing is a pressed fit into the stabalizer mount. Definitely not a straight-forward job to get the old one out or a new one in. Is this a DIY job or better left to a pro with proper tools? Thanks in advance.

You want the aftermarket two-piece urethane replacement.
Getting the old one out is a bit of a pain,
but putting the new one in is easy.

    $15 here:

IPD has instructions when you buy their replacement, which is much better than OEM. You use a hacksaw or similar to get the old one out, the new one is two pieces and real easy.

    Highly reccomended

I agree with Norm, the split bushing from IPD is a great way to go. I did mine in about 20 minutes 2 years ago. Some say it transmits a little more noise and vibration into the cabin, but if so, I don't notice it.

I replaced that mount in my own 850 with an OEM part. Definitely a PITA job for as simple as it looks. Many folks will tell you they prefer to buy an aftermarket bushing that is much easier to install.
