850 horn not working 850 1995

does anyone have any idea why the horn would not work on a 1995 850 GLT wagon. I know about the horn sticking, but have not read anything about the horn not working at all. Have checked fuses and wires and can't find anything. thanks.

i have a 93 sedan with a loose wire.
you see the orange thing in the middle of this picture (taken from driver side. it's right behind the steering wheel when you take the cover off.) see the yellow wire just to the left. yeah, that's loose on my car. maybe you have something similar?

When you're putting the airbag back in place I believe there's a caution to tighten the right screw first or the horn may not work.

Behind the air bag is a horn ring. It needs to be replaced.

Keep the key in your pocket or in the house, after you buy a new contact ring. Two torx screws on the back side of the steering wheel hold the airbag in place. Do NOT turn the ignition to on any time while the air bag is not inplace. Some of us disconnect the battery until the job is over.

Easy to fix,
