How do I find my code to my radio (1995 850 GLT Wagon), please help!!!!!! 850

Greetings:

My radio is displaying the "code" message. I need to find out the code. How can I find out and or re-program a new code into the radio? I need to tune in and or play my tapes, but have been unable to do so! It is really a nice factory system (fully loaded 850 GLT with side air bags/moon roof)Any suggestions and or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards!

Go to a dealer and give them your vin number and be ready with proof you own the vehicle (just in case) they should give it to you free.

If you are the first owner or the first owner left the books for you then there is normally a plastic card about the size of a credit card in the stuff that came with the car. Seems like there even may be a sticker on the chasis of the radio itself but that may have been another car. I have called the dealer and they provided me with the code or did a recovery of some type for free when I had it in long ago. They should be able to fix you right up and you will be tune rich in no time.

Check your any of your dealer repair invoice. My dealer has the code on my repair printout. It's there for the mechanic to use if when he has to disconnect the battery to work on the car.
