Auterra PDA Scan Tool/Dyno Scanner any good? 850 1997

Hello all again-
I posted a message a few days back about recommendations for PDA based computer scanning. MadeInJapan suggested the type in the subject line. From what I've seen, it does everything you could ever want and is also relatively reasoable in cost. But he (he is a he, right?) didn't say how well it works with the fussy Volvo computers. Also, when it is displaying the various sensors, what is its sample rate (how long does it hold a value before it displays another)? One I have personally seen holds a value for 10 to 15 seconds. Will it clear the check engine/service lights? Any other suggestions or comments?
Thanks
Dave (Peg's husband)

Yes, I am a he, and also a Dave...I've only read that it was good and recommended. I don't know any specifics about it. I do know that it won't reset your service light. You either need the dealer or the Draper tool (which I do have an highly recommend) for that.
