drink holder S40-V40 2001

does anyone know how to remove the front drink holder from the dash. there must be a secret.

Slip out the radio without disconecting the wires and reach in behind the cup holder and push it towards the rear of the car. It should slip out without too much effort. If you do disconect the radio, make sure you have the security code to reactivate it.
