Front end clunk S70

I read a post in the s80 threads about this, just wanted to see if there's something specific to s70's. I have a 98 gt with a BAD clunk in the front right corner. I'm thinking either a bad engine mount or a broken strut mount. Could it also be the tie rod? You can't feel the clunk, only hear it when you hit a bump on the right side at more than 15 mph. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

With the car on the ground, take a 21mm wrench (or socket and ratchet) and try to turn the nut on the upper strut mount clockwise. It should not be able to spin freely. If it does, the upper strut mount is broken.

I just purchased the car, I found that the lower retaining clip for the front right caliper was completly striped, therefore not holding the caliper in place. The thread on the caliper reatainer was also striped. OUCH!

Swaybar link might be the problem, but if it is a significant metal-metal clunk, I would suspect the 'front' lower engine mount which is located on the passenger side under the timing belt pully. It's an easy DIY replacement job.

Jack up from under the oil pan with a piece of wood on the jack and change it out. Be careful not to jack it up but a few inches or else you'll strain the axle joints.

Can be all of those as well as the swaybar endlink...see if it's loose.
