A/C cycling too frequently V70-XC70 1998

When idling, my A/C compressor cycles too frequently. Is this indication of being low on refrigerant ? Outside tems have been over 100 F.

    I think that adding a can would do wonders for your A/C, but when temps are this high (especially if it's humid) expect some irregularities with these Volvo A/C systems.
