Anyone know how to safely remove the roof molding on a 1995 850 T5R? It is fading and peeling and I would like to remove them (both sides), sand them, prime them, paint them and put them back on.

They just pop out. I bought a pair from the junkyard and removed the old ones and installed the new one. There is clips under the molding. I started from the back and used a screwdriver to pry up the molding then popped them out. Go slow and be careful so you don't bend the molding. i was a little hesitate at first, but its really easy.
