Can the SRS SERVICE URGENT alarm be reset by disconnecting the battery? (I disconnected the climate control with battery connected) Also, do the 2001 and later radios have a security code like the older models?

    SRS is a dealer only item. You won't be able to reset it by disconnecting the battery. I'm not sure about the radio on that one, but I do believe there's a code you need. Ask your dealer. Asking is free!
