'99 v70r awd

OBD code 1171 - iam told this is due to ABS sensors on a wheel hub indicating an error. Does that mean i need to replace the sensor? also which wheel? how to figure out which wheel it is comming from?

my p1171 was a new mass air flow sensor. about $160 mail order.

seen the same on many others

Without a factory Volvo code, not the generic OBD code, there is not a whole lot you can do about it.

I had that code a while back. It was emissions related, if I recall correctly. And yes, I was able to use All Data to look up the Volvo equivalent of that code, and All Data even supplied repair procedures.
