Does anyone know a good place to find third row seats? I've tried the local Volvo salvage yards (Atlanta) but no luck currently. I guess everyone is either looking to add or looking to get rid of these.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I waited about six months to get mine off of eBay. They show up eventually at a reasonable price if you can afford to be patient.

      The only way to get a new kit is to find a dealer that still has one in stock and is willing to violate corporate policie by selling it. All 3rd seat kits for older than 01 cars are no longer offered by volvo due to federal safety standard changes. You can still buy individual repair parts, but not a kit. Best bet to get the whole seat is used, either wrecking yard or Ebay.

    Volvo World has them but I warn you, be ready for sticker shock. http://www.vlvworld.com/

    Since it is an original Volvo accessory, you might try calling a couple of dealers in your area and talk to the parts department. When I was looking for load bars for a cargo box on my S40, I checked out Thule and Yakima. Ended up getting Volvo OEM bars from the dealer nearby for less than half what the aftermarket bars would have been. I bought the cargo box from Thule and it's great.

    Dealers are hit and miss on parts and accessory prices so try more than one.

      Yeah I saw their price. Probably a little much for me, but it is new.

      Sweedish Engineering has a used one for $875. Which is a little high for a used one to me. Salvage yards around here are quoting $250 - $500 for the kit used. I'll just have to keep my eye out.
