I think the brake master cylinder is going bad and I am interested in rebuilding it myself.Yea, I know. Why? Cause I want to.
I have tried to locate a rebuild kit but have been unable so far.
Any one got source or lead for 1996 850 brake master cylinder rebuild kit. Car does not have traction control.

Life just isn't fair sometimes. I'd rather rebuild than replace also but sometimes technology is working against you. Some master cylinders are kept together by hidden pins that are not designed to be removed once they're installed. You may be out of luck on this one.

yea, I'm finding oem's now for as low as 148$ and that kind of shifts the balan ce from wanting an adventure to replacement outright.
Just got through fixing the tripmeter/odometer with parts from Odometer Gears Ltd owned by Jeff Caplan. Great price and an easy fix just in time for it to turn over to 150k.
Thanks for the info on the rebuild.
