i have a 1996 855 glt and the other day i went to warm up the engine and theengine got hot the car was recently rebuilt i noticed the cooling fans didnt turn on. where is the sensor that controls the fans? or is it something else? where do i start with this problem? it didnt blow the gasket. i was letting it idle to get it ready for the road. the car has 242k on the clock and before and after the rebuild i noticed that the car has a slight problem with smokingout the tail pipe. theres a lot of whitish color smoke and there is no low coolant, so it isnt burning coolant.
