What else to change when struts are swapped.

Hello All VolvoGurus,

I'm prepping for a road trip and on the list are front struts- ride is pretty harsh and unforgiving at this point- so I'm guessing the struts mounts are toast and maybe sway bar bushings. While it's all apart I imagine I should change out the struts too. What other components are wise to change when I replace the struts themselves??

Thanks all!

Mike

You mentioned 2 issues: Sway bar endlinks and strut mounts.

I would also change out the spring seats. You can find all of this at www.fcpgroton.com at a decent price. I would however buy the heavy duty endlinks that www.ipdusa.com sells as they last much much longer. I have Bilstein Touring (TC's) all around and love them...better than OEM/new ride quality.
