I'm probably not searching correctly but what is the most common cause for a 96 850 "sticking" in Park? Is this most likely the infamous PNP switch? No orange arrow flashing and the info on Bay 13 doesn't really sound like it. After 30 sec to a minute it will go into drive.

Shift microswitch under the shift console. This should help:

You can hold down the over-ride button and make it shift for now.
