Whats the difference?

Reset procedure the same?
If so what socket? on 1995 850

    Service light reset at A-7 socket. http://www.volvospeed.com/850slight.php

    CEL depends on the problem...could be A-1, A-2, A-3, or A-6. Whatever the problem you have that turns on the CEL to begin with has to be solved to keep the light off. But if you reset all of the codes (DTC's), the CEL should go off, at least temporarily.
