V70 Repairs V70-XC70 1999

Hey everybody.

I live on a dirt road that is pounding the crap out of my V70 AWD. I think if I'm going to keep this thing I have to start doing some repair work myself. My dealer states it needs a couple thousand in work. I'm wondering if you might be able to tell me what is DIYable or not. Bay 13 didn't have anything regarding these repairs.

Control Arms Bad
Rear shocks - not nivomat
center bearing propshaft noisy.
Tie Rod ends
Sway bar links

Seems like I just fixed all this stuff...

Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

My old '93 850 seems more durable somehow...

All of those are fixable, depending on your skill level. Jack stands will be mandatory.
Why not solve the problem with a Bobcat? And a dozen semi's full of crushed rock. Next time, buy an XC with a belly pan and slow down.
