Hi all,

I get a squeaking/screeching/scratching noise on the front end and I get that noise at any speeds over any type of roads. It's a bit hard to determine where that noise is coming from exactly but it seems to come from the top of the struts. It started slightly on the left side at the beginning of winter and now I'm having it quite loud on both sides. I've pushed down on the bumper but I can't hear anything on either sides. The noise seems to reduce in intensity without going out completly when pressing brake pedal lightly while driving.

My car is a '95 N/A model with 134K miles on the clock and the control arms & sway bar links has been replaced both sides 18 months ago but the struts has never been touched since new.

Any opinions/help would be appreciated since so far, I've been using the radio to "smoother" the noise!

    Sounds like you need to have your brakes checked.
