S70 side moulding S70

I had the misfortune to damage my passenger and rear passanger doors and I need to take for repair. I read the estimate from the body shop and they talk about double sided tape for the side mouldings. I would like to know how to remove the side mouldings myself so I can reinstall them myself after the doors are repaired. thanks jim

My 95 and 98 have side mouldings that are not taped on. Open the door and at the moulding level there is a little grommet. Pull it off, and look for a small torx screw that hold on the last clip. I dipped my torx driver in axle grease so that the screw would stick to the driver and not fall down inside the door and never to be seen again. Then the moulding can be pushed forward or backward, I forgot which, and it comes right off. Both doors are line that. The little one on the front fender pops off.
