I undid the two ears on each side of the cover. There is no recycle thing ... any idea what it is called -- exactly?

mine have been held up for a year now by metal wire - i'm guessing the clips are a pretty penny themselves?

On my old 850, I drilled a new hole on both sides of mine, used a large washer and torqued it on tight...it held and looked fine until the day I sold it. If it's not completely torn up you might be able to salvage it.
