Normal Operating Purge Valve Noise 850 1994

I just replaced my purge valve with a new one. I was checking the installation for leaks with the engine running and the new purge valve started making a clicking noise, it lasted for about one minute. Is this the normal sound of an operating purge valve?

    Others might want to chime in, but I believe they do that when they've never been used...just cinching itself down to the right pressure...sort of a self-calibration. As long as you don't hear it again, you should be okay.
