I'm a HUGE fan of simplification...but are WE sure it's OK to toss the flame trap??

I'd love to hear from some pro's on this. Not assuming you're not a pro, Tek. Just want to be totally sure.

    toss the insert, it aint doing anything but clogging up every thing else.

    Volvo told us to start removing them about four or five years ago.

      I hear the new volvos don't have the insert, and the few dealers that I've talked with said that if you come in with the insert they will put one back in, if you don't have it they don't replace it.

      Seems like it really doesn't matter too much, more of a personal preferance.
