sway bar end links 95 650 850

Hi,
This may seem like a stupid question; if the sway bar end links are changed on my wife`s 850 will the car need an alignment? The car is approaching 240K & in an effort to regain the new car steering "feel" maybe those should be replaced.
All/any suggestions welcome.
Cheers!
Rich

If you get HDs and IPD sway bars, the stock sway bar links may only last a couple of months (personal experience). Get the IPD sway bar links at the same time, big improvement.

No, you won't need an alignment for just the links.

The swaybar endlinks don't affect your alignment. If they aren't worn as evidenced by clunking noises, I wouldn't worry about them although they are easy to replace and FCP Groton has them at a very reasonable price.

If you haven't replaced your struts and shock in 240K, then it is definitely time and this will make a significant difference in directional control, particularly on bumpy roads. I put in the IPD swaybars and Bilstein HD shocks and struts and was blown away at how much better the car handled. If your wife doesn't car for a firm ride, check out the Bilstein Touring shocks and struts.
