ACC Fan wont stop blowing... 850 1993

I have stopped the car, pulled keys out and fan still blowing full?!?
That could empty my batery, so I've remowed fuse #5 (fan motor, position 4)
than it stops.

Code readout said 4-1-8 ("no control signal to blower motor power stage").

Some advices, opinions or tips, please!

I think there's a small computer associated with the auto climate control system. This could be the problem. Sounds like it's got the fan turned on all the time. If that's the case you could try just unplugging the unit connector. Location???
