i was outside, without a jacket changing the oil in my 850 on saturday. it was a heat wave of 55 degrees.

the next day, it's 10 degrees outside. my washer fluid won't work because of frozen lines, or the squirters are blocked with ice.

gotta love it.

    Spent the first 20 years of my life in New England. Here in SoCal when my sons complain about difficult car repairs I have to remind them they don't have to wrestle with rusted bolts or sit under a car with melting ice and snow dripping on them. I really appreciate how difficult an auto mechanics job can be back there. Not to mention the DIY'er. Good luck.....

    Feel lucky that you could change the oil outside. My attached garage is still at 42F, but it has been warm since Christmas.
