V70 tire presures V70-XC70

I've had my 2002 V70 for two months now, and after a visual inspection i decided the tires might need a little air. I find that my fuel door has no psi decal inside it (maybe it had been in an accident?). None of the door jambs have one either. The Volvo dealer service guy says 32-34 psi all around. What do youse guys think? I read a comment on the www that Volvo tends to recommend higher pressures for less rolling resistance and consequently higher gas mileage.

34 all the way around is OK. Interesting, no sticker and no owner's manual. I wonder what people do with owner's manuals when they trade their car in? They aren't like National Geographic magazines,
