Back Bumper V70-XC70 1998

My wife has a white V70, and the rear bumper is getting scratched when loading up our dogs. Does anyone know of a "Bumper Guard" or whatever that we could get to cover the area. I know some manufacturers offer such a guard (Subaru, do for their Impreza).

Back Bumper V70-XC70 1998

My '98 XC came w/ a guard that is under the first (most rear) floor storage door. Standard on XC's as far as I could tell. It's very simple. It is attached w/ velcro and rolls out over and beyond the bumper. Try these guys

I've never heard of a factory guard, but I have seen a no-slip decal material
that will cover. It is the same stuff used on commercial stair wells and is black. Otherwise, you can do what I do and apply a coating of McGuires Tire Renew to the plastic surface every couple of months and keep the dogs nails clipped.

Back Bumper - try www.Xpel.com V70-XC70 1998

Check the web page for Xpel.com. Xpel sells clear plastic adhesive covers for headlights. The material is from 3M and does not discolor or become brittle for years. I have the Xpel headlight covers on my BMW 530 and V70, which here in Mississippi are a necessity because of the flying gravel. I recall seeing on their web page that they cut the Xpel for bumpers, as well.
