Thinking of buying a 850 Wagon (versus 940) 850

Season Greetings...

I presently have a 95 940, and am considering purchasing a 96 850 (190K)5-speed non turbo Wagon as a second car. My wife drives the 940 now.

My questions:

Is the 850 as reliable as the 940?
Is it DIY friendly?
What are the things that I could expect to go wrong / require replacing?
Any other info would be greatly aprecaited.

Many thanks

Chris

Sorry to tell you, but.. 850

the 850 is not as reliable, nor DIY friendly with that tight engine bay. Also is more maintenance intensive and parts are more expensive. THAT SAID.....

the 850 is faster, nicer looking (not boxy looking like the 940) and with great seats. and there is more to choose from out there at great prices.
